Welcome to the Independent School Counsellors’ Association of WA (ISCA WA) website. ISCA is an industry based association that supports practicing counsellors in Independent Schools in Western Australia.
MISSION STATEMENT

The Independent School Counsellors’ Association of WA (ISCA WA) aims to connect counsellors who work to develop resilient school communities.
ISCA WA is an industry-based association that supports counsellors practicing in Independent Schools. Our members are registered psychologists, social workers, and pastoral care workers who are currently employed in a counselling role in metropolitan or country Independent Schools.
AIMS
- To provide the opportunity for colleagues to network in both a professional and social manner.
- To encourage communication between members interested in promoting good practice amongst school-based counsellors.
- To provide topical professional development relevant to our professional environments.
ISCA WA E-Discussion List

Members of ISCA WA can post questions and share information via e-mail. This has proved to be a helpful tool, however, only current members of ISCA WA are able to access this discussion list.
AIMS
- To foster a safe and confidential electronic environment through which members can share information.
- To SEND professional queries with confidence.
- Where appropriate, to help other members by sharing your expertise with ALL members of the list, not just the individual who sent the email.
- To maintain a professionally supportive forum for all members.
Only current financial members of ISCA WA are able to access this e-discussion list. Members who have not renewed their membership by the Term 1 holidays will be deleted from the list.
